Meet The Founder

Hi, I'm Theresa A. Lindsay, Licensed Cosmetologist, product developer, and founder of Theresa Mae Curls. My journey began with the inspiration of my grandmother, Theresa Mae Banks, a licensed cosmetologist who worked her magic from her basement salon. Growing up surrounded by her love for hair sparked my own passion, and at just 14 years old, I began creating my own products while starting my natural hair journey. That passion led me to cosmetology school, where I graduated in 2020 and turned my dream into a career dedicated to helping people embrace and care for their curls.


Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with so many unique curls, coils, and waves, and each one has taught me something new. From the very beginning, my vision has been to help redefine how
textured hair is treated by creating intentional, stylist-developed products, sharing meaningful education, and creating experiences that inspire confidence and celebrate healthy curls.

How long does processing take?

Orders are processed within 7–10 business days before shipping. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email.
